Phuket is a beautiful, touristic and safe place for tourism for everyone, experienced travelers and non-experienced!
However, here are some practical tips to avoid falling into some “traps” and getting into adventures.
1) Drink only bottled water and avoid asking for ice in restaurants and shops.
2) Avoid wearing our shoes in the Temples and observe the dress code required.
3) We don’t even enter the process of renting a car or a motorbike as driving in these places is very risky by European standards.
4) Avoid disturbing wildlife in protected areas. No matter how excited we get and want to approach them, the animals do not listen to this enthusiasm. We barely scare them and create a disturbance with the risk of them attacking us.
5)When you are in national parks, on beaches, try not to make noise, do not feed animals and especially fish and do not collect coral or shells to take with us on our return!
6) Wear special protective marine shoes, as there are corals and there is a risk of injury.
7) We calculate the weather in Phuket, wear sunscreen and avoid long hours of exposure to the sun.
Of course, the above is not intended to be a hindrance to our possible visit to Phuket but to make our trip even more exciting and magical!
